Overview
This is a really nice new restaurant with good accessibility, situated next to cineworld cinema with adequate disabled parking and bus stops
Transport & Parking
There were a good number of disabled parking spaces at the side of the restaurant and a few stops in the park too
Access
There is a ramp from the disabled parking up to the pathway to enter the restaurant. It is flat entry through two sets of double doors. The restaurant is quite spacious and although it was quiet when we were there, there are a row of tables to the left which are ideal for wheelchair users. The tables are at a good height and my chair was able to fit under well. There isn’t table service unfortunately and the til is quite high but I could order ok and the staff were very helpful.
Toilets
The toilets are through a door which pushes im so then pulls to go back out, it was very difficult for me to open it due to the handle in particular. The accessible toilet was very clean and a good size, there was a stool in the corner which is good for parents who may need to sit while changing a baby, but it made it a little harder to turn round- though not impossible. There were a good number of grab rails and a red cord that hung to the floor
Staff
The staff were all very nice and friendly and offered additional help if needed
