Overview

We had booked a ferry crossing and made the staff know I had a WAV with a side lift and they said not a problem but please arrive with plenty of time in order to be loaded first.

Transport & Parking

There is a clearly thought out approach to disabled drivers and they knew the routine well. Turn up, explain you have booked accessible parking, they guide you to a specific lane and ask you to put your hazard lights on.

Access

I was positioned literally opposite the lift. I got out my car using my lift and rolled straight into the passenger lift to access the above decks/lounge/cafeteria. It was disappointing I could not easily access the outside, just one small area, and the lift although did go to the upper deck, would not work which was frustrating.

Toilets

Very clean and fully accessible. High sink and mirror which is my pet hate.
