Overview
Hi I write this summary for Caleb I am his legal guardian. We live in Kilcreggan Argyll and Bute and can't access our local ferry service. (Not accessable for wheel chair users) And never has been. We take Caleb to Inverclyde Royal Infirmary on regular trips, (100 mile round trip) takes us all day . The ferry runs 30 mins, takes 15 mins and 10 mins by taxi but only if you are able bodied. Cal Mac now this is illegal but refused to rectify the situation. Stair both at kilcreggan and Gourock, no wheelchair ramps. Thanks Caleb's Mum &Dad
Transport & Parking
Disabled spaces blocked by Mod base work traffic who go on the ferry and leave a spare car in the carpark in Kilcreggan village
Access
None existent
Toilets
Can't get on the ferry to use them . If you did get on the ferry you would have to be carried to the toilet as it's down steep stairs.
Staff
Staff is fantastic but are helpless as they know the ferry is not fit for purpose.
