Overview
We genuinely only visited this place because it was reviewed on Euan's Guide, and we were glad we did. It's not an easy experience to learn in detail about Bloody Sunday, but it's very worthwhile, and the level access and space around the displays in this small museum mean that wheelchair users feel welcome.
Transport & Parking
We parked in a pay-and-display car park a few streets away from the museum, and that distance was fine for my small scooter. If you needed to be dropped off right outside, that looked as if it would be possible, as the entrance in on a fairly quiet side street, but I wouldn't count on getting a street parking place there.
Access
Level access throughout and you're welcome with your wheelchair at the front door like everyone else.
Toilets
Nice big clean modern accessible loo with all the rails I needed.
Staff
The staff were pleasant and helpful, and added to the powerful nature of the experience because they were both local people who had lost a relative in Bloody Sunday.
