Overview

We attended using my partners mountain trike wheelchair so we were able to go on some walks through the grounds. There are a variety of walks, some paved, some gravel and some off road. The castle itself is only wheelchair accessible to the ground floor which is to be expected in such an old building. The birds of prey show is fantastic too. There are two ticket options, one for grounds / birds show and one for these two along with the castle. They also do free carer tickets.

Staff were very friendly. The woman at the ticket office showed us on a map which routes were wheelchair accessible, which were mountain trike wheelchair accessible and which were not. We were also told prior to paying for entry to the castle that only the ground floor was accessible.
