Half the shop inaccessible to wheelchair users

Overview
Not a good place for wheelchair users. The basement, which contains over half the goods on sale at this branch, is reachable only by a staircase.
Transport & Parking
Tottenham Court Road tube station is the nearest step-free station: step-free street to train (Northern Line), step-free street to platform (Central Line, and manual boarding ramps are available). Be sure to check online that the extremely unreliable lifts at this station are working before you set off on your journey, and expect difficult interactions with unhelpful staff if you need a manual boarding ramp for the Central Line. Many bus routes pass the shop.
Access
The entrance is step-free and it's possible to get around the entire ground floor in a wheelchair without difficulty. But more than half the goods on sale are in the basement, which is reachable only by a staircase - there is no lift.
Toilets
There are no customer toilets of any sort at this branch.
Staff
Staff are friendly, but dismissive when questions are asked about the accessibility of the basement.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
If you're a wheelchair user, I wouldn't bother visiting this shop.
