Overview
Called in as we are new to the area, and ready for lunch. Very attentive and helpful staff, and excellent fish and chips, although they do other foods too. I had the special fish and chip meal with tea bread and butter, and gravy. The gravy tasted of steak and kidney (my favourite pie). The fish was haddock and cooked to order and was cooked to perfection with a crispy (not greasy) batter.
Transport & Parking
There are a couple of disabled parking bays directly outside on the street,
Access
Step free access. Doors were a little difficult for me to push open. Once inside it is spacious and there was lots of room to manoeuvre between tables.
Toilets
Disabled toilet was easily found and plenty of room to get around in my powerchair. They were clean and everything was easy to use. Loved the sink which looked like it was made in varnished driftwood. Drier was low enough and powerful. Red cord fully accessible and reaching close to the floor.
Staff
The staff were very helpful and attentive at the right time. We enjoyed the experience and told the staff how great they were.
