This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Wheelchair, Powerchair, Mobility Scooter
Overview
This is different, very pleasant, with modern outlook, but well looked after. The disabled rooms, all 14 of them, are spacious, clean, comfortable, and an ideal hotel for a quick stay. Dining is different, not really a restaurant, more cafe like, wooden seating dotted around, but there are more comfortable area or sit and relax.
Transport & Parking
The nearest disabled parking is alongside hotel, but it on a first come first saved basis, and if full, you would need to find another car park, and although not to far away, it’s a nuisance, so bear this in mind. It’s £10 a night at the moment.
Access
Its all on the level, with space to move around. Lifts are available to bedrooms, and all 14 disabled rooms are well maintained and lots of space in there. The room we review was like a small suit, very nice indeed.
Toilets
Bit of a ride to get to public disabled toilet, but it’s quite ok for you, with grab rails and pull cord, roomy and very clean
Staff
We only met one very pleasant young man, Gareth, but he was so helpful and willing. Thank you for your support to us.
