Overview
While in the NEC Birmingham, we had a delightful lunch in this pleasant restaurant, so we took the lift to (level 0), then exiting, we walked along towards the escalator at the far end (photo 1) and arrived at the Miller and Carter steakhouse , which is overlooking the lake. It’s a very attractive, warmly decorated and appealing restaurant (photo 2) with lovely lakeside views. In the far corner, the chefs are preparing your food (photo 3) and meanwhile, pre-dinner drinks can be taken at the bar. (photo 4) At the far end of the restaurant are the toilet doors (photo 5) and these lead you to the disabled toilet (photo 6). Nicely tiled in brown wall tiles with cream floor tiles, spacious and spotlessly clean, with grab rails and pull cord. (Photo 7). We were escorted to our table for two, with a beautiful view overlooking the lake ( photo 8) and the wheelchair was discreetly placed alongside our table, while we settled down to enjoy our starters and a pleasant glass of wine each (photo 9). This was followed by the main course, of which my husband heartedly tucked into a very large steak sandwich and french fries which he said was delicious (photo 10). Our final thoughts This received our top 5 star marks, not only because of the restaurant itself, but that both our meals were of a high standard, served by a very attentive waitress, well presented by the chefs, and at a very reasonable cost. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch, and we would highly recommend you try it.

Access
Arriving through Resort World shopping area, it is very easy to get here, all on the level, lift up from car park, and a short walk passing shops. Its easy to get into restaurant, but at various tables its a bit tight, but staff will seat you in an area you can cope with.
Toilets
There is a disabled toilet at far corner of restaurant, with a grab rail and pull cord, with enough room to be able to turn around in there. Its very clean and well looked after.
Staff
All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful.
