Overview
This is in a period house in the middle of Chalkwell Park.
Transport & Parking
There is a small to medium sized car park with some disabled bays. It is on a main road with plenty of buses stopping nearby.
Access
Although this is a period house it has had a sympathetically designed ramp added to make access easy. All public rooms are on the ground floor with plenty of space to get around.
Toilets
This has to have the highest ceiling of any toilet I have been in. It also doubles as art gallery so quite the most interesting toilet as well!
Staff
Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We were shown around by Nicky one of the current contributors.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This building is set in the middle of an inviting park which has a view out over the Thames Estuary and worth a visit on its own. The Centre regularly changes its exhibitions so there is always something new to see.
