Motorhome pub stopover that needs an accessible toilet

Overview
We sometimes use this to break up long journeys on the M6 and into Scotland. It's a very popular motorhome pub stopover, that does great food at a reasonable price. If you are eating in the pub, you don't pay anything to stay overnight.
Transport & Parking
The Metal Bridge Inn is just off the M6 between junctions 44 and 45. It's fairly easy to find with a satnav and is signposted for the last bit. The motorhome area is at the back, through the car park and all the spaces are big enough to load and unload wheelchairs. The surface is rather uneven and is mostly fine gravel - not the easiest for wheelchairs but at least it is flat.
Access
The main entrance is at the front, so you have to go out through the car park and round to the front of the building. There are three sets of double doors to get through. They all have level entry but I needed someone to help with the doors. A lot of the restaurant area is carpeted and feels a bit like wading through treacle. The tables are a good shape and height, so I could get my chair right under and not bang my legs. We had booked and they put us in a suitable corner where I could settle my assistance dog out of the main walkway.
Toilets
There is no accessible toilet. The ladies and gents have a heavy door and it was too narrow to get in with my wheelchair. Fortunately, I had my stick with me, so I was able to get in using that. There are no grab rails in any of the toilets. To be honest, if we come again, I may just pop back to the motorhome and use my own toilet.
Staff
The staff are always so helpful, friendly and polite. Service is great!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The food is a good range of pub fare. They have a set menu which gives 2 courses for £10 or 3 courses for £13.94 (June 2024), which is really not bad at all.
