Overview
What else to do on a damp January day than go to a museum about water! Fascinating place with no accessibility issues at all, lifts are nice and open feeling, staff are friendly and it's pretty well signposted and laid out. Points lost for a non dangling red cord. Only time i haven't got them Euans Guide cards with meππ Nice few hours out. Very pleasant museum, pleasant staff, warning provided of the temporary closure of Changing Places facility too.
Transport & Parking
Plenty of nearby public transport with good access. The friendly MerseyRail service is a firm favourite for me. Only thing I really don't like is the lack of tarmac to get in, being the old docks area they do like their cobblestones!
Access
5 star. BSL options on most the videos around the museum, warnings when entering levels of low lighting too.
Toilets
Clean and tidy, sturdy grab rails and a light easy to move door, but the red cord needed to be put in its right place first.
