Overview
Excellent venue with great exhibitions and a lovely restaurant.
Transport & Parking
We stayed in a hotel close by so didn't use the parking facilities on this occasion however there were disabled parking spaces close to the venue. There are also frequent open top tour buses that stop at Albert Docks.
Access
Signage was good. There was only one lift in use at the time of our visit (not sure how many more there were as there were some works ongoing). It's a large lift, almost like a goods lift, which was fairly slow so we were waiting for a while to travel between floors. In saying that, each floor had good access for wheelchair users.
Toilets
From memory, at least one disabled toilet on each floor.
Staff
Nice friendly staff.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Whether visiting by car or taking advantage of the open top tour buses and combining your visit with a tour round the city, we would recommend a visit. There was an exhibition on slavery which was very interesting and the views overlooking the docks from the restaurant were nice. There are other museums in the complex as well as a whole range of shops so you could easily spend a whole day out there.
