Overview

The newly developing city centre Liverpool One has great access, Liverpool docks museums and Lady Lever Gallery in Port Sunlight, all so inspiring.

Transport & Parking

5

Lots of paid parking of good quality. Disabled bays few and far between but city is not designed around cars. Shopmobility free scooter and wheelchair use available.

Access

5

All the museums had excellent facilities for people with a wide range of impairments

Toilets

All that was needed was there. Just lost a point for misplaced cords and loo doors in Maritime Museum badly designed in that when the door was open it blocked access to ambulance loos.

Staff

5

Just ask and they will give assistance. The expected friendliness of scousers and those from other countries who have "embraced the scouse".

Anything else you wish to tell us?

The whole of Liverpool one is built for people to enjoy the spaces, including disabled people. Museums very well designed and you can even get a scooter on the "Ferry Cross the Mersey".
