Overview

Thank you to Stefanie for a wonderful tour and making sure it was accessible for my wheelchair. We had a great time and learned a lot! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Transport & Parking

It was around a 15 minute walk from our hotel in the West End to the tour starting point at Mercat Cross. Pavement is plenty wide on High Street. Crowds a bit heavy, but expected this time of summer. Mercat Cross is easily accessible by city bus from either the South Bridge or Victoria Street stops.

Access

Our tour guide Stefanie went above and beyond to make sure the tour was wheelchair accessible and tried to avoid as many cobblestones as possible. Headphones were handed out to our group so we could hear the guide speak via microphone.

Toilets

Accessible toilet was not used during the tour, but it is assumed a guide would be more than glad to help you find one.
