Overview
Took my elderly mother here for a cup of tea. She is an attendant propelled wheelchair user. She enjoyed the experience. Light and airy café. Bit of a buzz about the place, including a small children's play area. The accessible toilet was light and airy, but we didn't use it. Teas, breakfasts and light lunches available. Small tables which you can wheel a wheelchair up to. We will go again.
Transport & Parking
Two disabled parking bays at the back of the café, one behind the other. I was driving a hired car with wheelchair ramp at the back. Not sure if we could have got the ramp down if another car was parked in the marked space behind. There is a village car park on the other side of the road. Parking was free.
Access
Press button door at the back but the next door into the café was a manual one and the space between the two doors was a bit cramped for both a wheelchair user and a carer carrying a walking frame.
Toilets
Seemed light and airy. Colour contrast rails. We didn't use it.
Staff
