Overview

This temporary venue for Edinburgh Rugby may be good for the players and able-bodied fans but is hopeless for disabled supporters (if I wasn't such a rugby nut, I wouldn't have bothered!)

Transport & Parking

A distinct lack of disabled bays,and the one we had booked was occupied by he media. Probably best to arrive by foot but even then there is a long walk to the stand.

Access

There was a broad ramp down to pitch level but no signage and disabled seating was tacked on, in front of the stand like an afterthought.

Toilets

I'm sure there must have been one somewhere but I dared not move.

Staff

They were clueless - was this the first time they had seen a wheelchair user?

BT Murrayfield was being used for The Foo Fighters concert hence the change in venue but if as rumoured Edinburgh are contemplating a move to a smaller stadium - may I suggest they spend some money upgrading?
