Overview
The staff were very friendly, I called in with my dad who had a stroke which has left him with hemiplegia. Although he could not physically get to the order counter because of the steps, a member of staff will come to your table to take your order. On this occasion I went to order the food.
Transport & Parking
This is in the town centre so central to bus stops and train station. There are two very large multi storey car parks which both have disabled only parking on the ground floors.
Access
There are doors you need to push to enter which are difficult for anyone in a wheelchair or scooter. To order food there are 6 steps to the counter, although you can order your food via a touch button menu at the top of the steps. A member of staff will come to you if you cannot get to the counter though this is not ideal at busy periods as I witnessed someone waiting for 15 minutes before anyone came to assist them. The disabled toilet on the day we went was out of order, to reach the main toilets also requires going down the steps, past the counter then reached via more steps so not ideal.
Toilets
When in use the toilets are fine, plenty of room to manoeuvre if in a wheelchair or scooter.
Staff
The staff are friendly and helpful but on busy days it can be a long wait till order taken.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
A major improvement would be a lift, many disabled people would rather be able to order their food alongside others , this would better promote independence .
