Accomodating but need to readdress their attitudes to disabled parking
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid
Overview
Easy to access the building, lots of options to sit, can have food brought to the table but appaling attitude towards the disabled parking bays, instructing people without a badge to park there to wait for things.
Transport & Parking
There is only 3 disabled parking spaces which is definitely less than 20% of the car park (used for reference since roughly 20% of the UK population is disabled) which is important when compared to how the staff instruct their useage. Then the staff instruct the Just Eat/UberEats drivers to park in those spaces while going in to retrieve orders as it is closer for them and also when busy instruct drive through customers to park up in those spaces to wait for orders so that there are no actual disabled spaces available to disabled customers who need them.
Access
Doors for entry to the building are automatic, there is a hearing loop if you opt to use the tills to order and 4 self-service stations available too which can have font enlarged.
Toilets
Toilet had the necessary rails, a cord that was left to freely fall to the ground and enough space to manoeuvre comfortably. The door to the toilet was also a hanging door on a sliding rail which made it one of the easiest disabled toilets I have accessed.
