Overview
TO SEE SHOPPING VILLAGE AT ITS BEST READ BOTH PARTS OF OUR REVIEWS. Work started on this shopping complex in 2017, and opened in 2021, and is now 7th centre that offers top named outlets at reduced costs, and an ideal place for disabled people to visit. It’s all on the level, 48 stores to check out, 2 toilet blocks with accessible toilets, huge car park. ( BUT NOTE, Disabled parking is in section C but an absolute waste of time, as after parking, there ARE STEPS to get down, how silly a design is that ? ) Better to park in section D, it’s right by the main shops, and will get you straight to a very important part of your visit, a Coffee shop. OUR REVIEW We suggest that on arriving here, you follow road round towards the clock tower and park up in section D, which is right by the shopping streets. Our photos will now give you an idea on how nice this shopping village is, and helps you find the disabled toilets, which we found to be very helpful. OUR FINAL THOUGHTS It looks delightful as you arrive, with many shops to browse through. All the buildings are different and very characterful. The whole village is spotlessly clean, very well maintained, and so easy to move wheelchair around. We highly recommend this shopping outlet.
Transport & Parking
Huge car park with disabled bays, which are a waste of time anyway, and the whole complex has level walks and entrances intonshops
Access
Although there are plenty of bays for disabled, in section C, the area is a waste of time as after parking you have steps to get down, or walk way over to another section and then walk back again to get along towards the shops, the most silly idea we have yet seen. Going around the complex though is a delight, it’s all on the level, including getting into shops, there are seating areas for you to rest, and toilets.
Toilets
Two different toilet blocks may be found, one is especially useful for disabled although it’s still a bit tight into cubicle, and the other shows that a lift is available to get up to first floor, or use escalator, but there is a small disabled toilet on ground floor behind the lift, it is signposted. (SEE PHOTOS)
Staff
All are very helpful no matter which store you visit, of coffee shops, they try very hard to support disabled.
