Overview

A wheelchair accessible restaurant in a convenient location close to the city centre, with delicious food and lovely staff. Extensive menu with many options, and clear allergy warnings too (i.e. for nuts, etc). Lots of parking spaces right outside, large restaurant and accessible toilet.

Transport & Parking

Plenty of parking spaces right outside the restaurant. Located very close to the city centre, so would be possible to walk (would take about 15 minutes depending where you're walking from) or can get a bus or short taxi ride, as it is just off Kirkstall road.

Access

Step-free access, with a dropped curb to get into the restaurant. The doors aren't automatic, so you may require someone with you or you could give them a ring and ask for someone to come and open them (staff are very friendly). The restaurant is very large, with bright lighting (not too fluorescent though) and we were able to maneuver between the tables with an electric wheelchair.

Toilets

There was an accessible toilet that was easy to find (staff will direct you too) with enough space to maneuver and have a PA too, and there were handrails. It was clean and tidy.

Staff

Staff were very welcoming and made it a pleasant experience. Helpful when they could be, i.e. providing straws for drinks.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Delicious food, in a beautiful setting - we went on a Thursday night with a big group of us (about 10) with various impairment types, and all found it to be a welcoming and enjoyable evening. Not badly priced either - about £8 for a main dish, but they're massive!
