Overview
Lovely street access cafe/bistro with friendly and helpful staff. Space between tables is more than enough for wheelchair turn. Food menus have a verity of choice - homemade soup and hot chocolate are well recommended. Good and clean Disabled Toilet
Transport & Parking
Parked on street front although there is a car park at the side of building. Public transport in adjoining street.
Access
Street access and glass frontage - doors are heavy but staff will assist. The tables are square and have enough room to allow space enough to get chair close enough to eat food (soup) without stretching. Wood floor no carpets so don't know how slippy it would in the rain.
Toilets
There is a door to get into the hall leading to Toilets. Toilets are separate from each other with their own doors. Disabled toilet has grab rails and red assistance chord. The room was clean.
Staff
There is two staff on regularly in the day when it functions as a cafe. Coffee and food were carried to the table. The doors were opened for me after they asked my permission to allow them to assist. They were happy in their work and offered good conversation when I was the only one in.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The cafe/bistro is fully glass frontage and so offers plenty of light. Because there are no carpets and high ceilings it can generate echo noises but I found it easy to hear and take part in conversation.
