Overview
This restaurant was chosen because it had good reviews from friends. It is tucked away off the High Street but is accessible . The whole experience was very enjoyable only let down by lack of easy parking.
Transport & Parking
Parked on the High Street to let me out of the car. Unfortunately, the High Street is busy and the driver had to park some distance away. You need to have another person to push the wheelchair down to the entrance.
Access
The access is on the level but some 75 meters from the road. It is through the rear of the restaurant.
Toilets
Did not check the toilets out.
Staff
We were offered drinks and the menu as soon as we were seated. My brother-in-law, who was feeding me, asked for his meal to be served as soon as I had eaten. This was no problem to the staff and his meal arrived shortly after I had finished. Overall, they were very attentive and pleasant.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The restaurant caters for all tastes. It offers an inclusive lunch menu, A La Carte and a what they call a "small plate" menu for diners not wanting a heavy lunch. All the dishes were interesting and I had no trouble in choosing what to eat. My brother-in-law had a fillet steak off the small plate menu and said it was excellent.
