Overview
Impressively ornate old theatre from the Victorian era, sensitively updated and well maintained. High quality Indian cuisine, interesting and imaginative menu. Step-free throughout.
Transport & Parking
I trundled up from Victoria station on my small mobility scooter, through Green Park and along Piccadilly. Also accessible by bus or Underground (Green Park or Piccadilly Circus).
Access
Step free access throughout. Room enough to park scooter alongside a table. But I could have transferred to one of the restaurant seats and asked for my scooter to be parked in a corner somewhere. Staff very helpful.
Toilets
Disabled toilet, ground floor. Access partially blocked by stored chairs, but these were quickly removed by friendly staff. Loo a bit small for scooter but OK for power chair or manual. I had to exit loo in reverse but no problem.
Staff
Everybody very friendly and helpful, especially by holding open the heavy glass entrance doors. But these doors are very effective at completely blocking the din of the amplified busker outside.
