Good Pub/hotel

Overview
This is a lovely pub/hotel and restaurant offering good beer/wine and food. They have one accessible room which doubles up as their executive room, make sure you say you are disabled to get the better rate. It is a good size easy for my mobility scooter but it doesn’t have any grab rails or pull cord. I took my own toilet grab rails. It has a wet room but I couldn’t get in the shower cos the glass screen stops access for a scooter. The pub is fully accessible.
Transport & Parking
There is good parking very close but te pub is in the countryside and you really need a car, I doubt there is a regular bus service, it is not even in a village but there are lots of things to see not far away.
Access
Level access everywhere just some low door thresholds. Don’t think there was any hearing or Braille signage.
Toilets
Normal loo in bedroom but there is a good disabled loo in the pub.
Staff
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Good base for exploring the area inc the coast and National trust properties. Have been several times.
