Overview
It is an old building and they have done the best make it accessible, but it is not really very good
Transport & Parking
Access
There is a path to the side of the steps for wheelchairs, but it is overgrown so if the bushes are wet. You will also get very wet
Toilets
It had a wet room, but it was about half a foot lower than the bedroom, which meant that whilst it was easy to go into the toilet. It was very difficult to get out unless you are strong and my partner had to pull me out every time because I was not strong enough to get up the very steep threshold ramp
Staff
The staff were lovely and extremely helpful
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The town of Shanklin is not very accessible as it is quite hilly and there are not many dropped curbs. If you go to the Isle of Wight. I would recommend going somewhere else. If you are in a wheelchair
