Overview
Located within a unique horseshoe shaped building, There are many reasons to visit this site. It has great food, amazing architecture, a beautiful mural designed by Arno Conen, and the largest glass window cable structure in Europe. It is also located near other unique sites in Rotterdam, such as the Grote of Sint-Laurenskerk, cube houses, Old Town, and nearby views of Rotterdam's port. The beautiful apartments create an archway over the market hall, creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. There are dozens of food stands where you can sample the local cuisine, or you can sit down for a nice meal at one of the bars and restaurants. There is even a grocery store located inside.
Transport & Parking
The Markthal can be accessed by public transportation. If going by car, there is a wheelchair accessible parking lot located under the building. From the Rotterdam Centraal Station, it is a 25 minute walk. If going by taxi, the company Accessible Travel Netherlands can make arrangements for you.
