Overview
Step-free from street via Belfry Centre. Lifts between floors and to car park. Shopmobility nearby. Accessible RADAR key WC on ground floor. Large accessible fitting room (male only checked) NO working hearing loops today, a repeat of my experiences on several occasions since December 2013.
Transport & Parking
Dedicated Blue Badge spaces near lifts and Shopmobility office. Most bus services have ramps. Redhill train station has lifts to all platforms. All crossing nearby, and towards bus and train stations, have dipped kerbs and tactile paving.
Access
No loops found working at Customer Services signposted on store guide. No loop in cafe, nor at tills visited.
Toilets
Not visited as needs Radar key for access. Sign on door indicates "Transfer side on right". Also has baby changing inside.
Staff
Didn't appear to care that Loop was not working. "We have had lots of problems with it!" was message when challenged.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Good for mobility improvement, no good for hearing loops. I have complained and AVOIDED visiting on my own for this reason since before 2013.
