Overview
I took an unaccompanied journey south (to London) on East Midlands Railway from Market Harborough. The station has 2 platforms. Platform 1 (for Northern journeys) is directly accessible by ramp from the entrance hall/ticket office, which is at the front of the station. To access Platform 2 (South) from the ticket office you need to take the ramp to Platform 1, then the lift to the footbridge and then another lift down to Platform 2. There is a drop-off only space at the front of the station near to the ticket office. The main car park is at the rear of the station and is accessed from Rockingham Road. It is adjacent to Platform 2. There is ample parking, with several Blue Badge bays. From the carpark access to Platform 2 is via a ramp. To get to Platform 1 you need to use the lifts and the footbridge from Platform 2. The only disabled toilet is on Platform 1, as is the (accessible) waiting room. There is no waiting room on Platform 2, but there are benches and shelters.
Transport & Parking
Ample car parking adjacent to Platform 2. Local buses also stop adjacent to the car park.
Access
Both platforms are accessible either via ramps or lifts.
Toilets
Accessible via Radar key. Modern and clean. I'm not sure that they are open 24 hours though.
Staff
Station is not staffed 24 hours. The staff I met were very friendly and helpful.
