Overview
The first day we tried to take Mdina, Rabat & Mtarfa Tourist Sightseeing Train Tour we were out of luck as it was off the road. Not to be outdone, we returned another day and I have to say I am glad we did. The journey, lasting around 30 minutes, was most interesting, taking us around the tight streets in Rabat (well done to the driver for his manoeuvres ) and onto Mtarfa. At various points of the journey, the train stoppad to allow passengers to take photographs of the countryside and looking up to Mdina. The day we took the ride, the commentary was only in English which avoided any delays in the commentary. At only 4.50 Euros, it was money very well spent. Please note the photograph is that of a similar train in Valletta. On that one the wheelchair was stored rather than going up a ramp as was the case in Mdina

Access
As a wheelchair user, checked out the website and found that the Rabat train took a wheelchair. The gentleman in charge swiftly loaded me (along with my wife) in a friendly manner.
