Picturesque harbour
Visit date:
Overview
A gathering of bobbing, colourful boats with a line of harbour-front parking spaces make this a great place to stop for a picnic or a stroll. You'll most likely see a seal dipping around the boats too!
Transport & Parking
Parking with a view! There are lots of spaces along the harbour front, but I visited out of season so it was quiet enough to find a space easily. This won't be the case during peak season! The closer you can park to the actual village the better, because some of the paths abruptly end meaning you have to cross the road to reach another safe footpath if you want to walk around the waterfront.
Access
Once your out of your car and wandering along, there are some nice boardwalk style seating areas where you can take in the view of the boats. These are level access, but with stairs in places to drop to lower seating. I recommend The Bakhouse on the harbour, but sadly it is shut off season.
Toilets
I didn't use any and there weren't any obvious public toilets around. Lots of businesses nearby though.
