Overview

This is the most accessible hotel we have ever stayed in. There is ceiling track hoisting available in downstairs rooms and a ceiling track hoist into the lovely warm swimming pool. The staff are really helpful and friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. We found plenty of accessible things to do in Jersey including beaches, walks, restaurants and other attractions.

Transport & Parking

We drove our own WAV and parked in their spacious parking area. However they have adapted vehicles on site for running excursions or airport pick ups for those who fly. We enjoyed having our WAV to be able to get out and about whenever we like and booking special assistance on condor ferries was brilliant. If you don't have a vehicle, they offer excursions each day as I don't think there is regular public transport around the island from this location.

Access

Everything on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. They have ceiling hoists in many of the downstairs rooms, ramps to every area inside and out. The circulation space is large and the wetrooms are roomy. The pool area has ceiling track hoisting over the pool as well as a ramp down into the pool. They have shower chairs that you can use to move around within the changing area, but not hoists in the changing area. The hotel have height adjustable beds with bedsides, (but didn't have covers for the bed sides, so gave us additional duvets to secure around the bedside) and a range of equipment you can borrow.
