Overview
Workable solutions to almost every challenge - and very willing staff.
Transport & Parking
Got here by taxi and home by bus - both worked very well.
Access
If you present yourself as a wheelchair user there are staff at every key point to get you in via an accessible route. THe only thing we couldn't do is the Spirit of London experience, some kind of ride in a mock taxi for which you had to be able to walk. Everything else could be done.
Toilets
There was more than one toilet. The one we used had plenty of room for a carer. If you needed to do a full sideways transfer our wheelchair user said it would be a bit tight for a transfer. All clean and tidy.
Staff
Staff were excellent. We were always spotted when we needed to move on to the next area and they were unfailing jolly and positive. Very "can do".
Anything else you wish to tell us?
If you want to have the Madame Tussaud's experience, it is entirely possible. The only thing to remember is it's a busy attraction, at least it was in mid school summer holidays, and you have to accept not everyone else at the attraction immediately spots a wheelchair!
