Lothian Buses are delighted to once again be participating in Disabled Access Day on Saturday 11 March at Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre.  Between 11am-3pm, we will have one of our brand-new route 22 vehicles at Ocean Terminal. You’ll be able to try out the bus itself and its next level accessibility, and chat to our driver about how easy it is to use our bus network. There’ll even be some giveaways!

  • Low entrances to give step free access
  • Retractable boarding ramp for wheelchair access
  • Completely flat areas on the lower deck
  • High visibility handrails
  • A dedicated wheelchair space

 

• Our technology helps enhance the journey. Our smartphone app has:
  • Audible stop announcements
  • Stop radar which detects and announces stops in the vicinity
  • Stop alarm which alerts on approach to pre-selected stops
