Venue Description
Longdown Activity Farm is a fantastic day out for everyone. A daily schedule of hands-on activities includes kid goat and calf bottle-feeding, duck feeding, and small animal handling when you can cuddle a baby rabbit, chick or maybe even a piglet! Plus, there are lots more animals to see.
Accessibility
Access to our visitor entrance is via a concrete pathway; there is a gated access system to prevent children from running onto the road. The admission entrance is located under cover and is accessible to wheelchair users. There are no hearing loops installed at present. All pathways and buildings are accessible to wheelchair users, however there are restrictive widths between the Tea Room and the Gift Shop. Registered disabled visitors are admitted at the reduced rate, their carer will be admitted free of charge.

Toilets
We have an accessible toilet facilities as well as an official Changing Room facility. The Changing Room facility contains equipment that includes an adult-sized, height adjustable changing bed, lifting hoist, and adapted toilet. It is accessible via a gentle ramp and has ample room to manoeuvre a large wheelchair.
Staff
Our staff work alongside students who have additional needs on a daily basis. Whilst not having specialist training in specific areas, our staff are kind, caring and patient, and anticipate and give extra help and assistance where it is wanted and required.
