Overview
We had a nice few hours at Loggerheads. There is an accessible route via Devil’s Gorge along the river for half a mile. Then the path gets too difficult for wheelchairs so you need to turn around. On route back, you can turn right onto the boardwalk and come back that way back to the Tea Gardens café and the exit/entrance. There are picnic benches at the entrance on grass which is a flat area. In terms of Covid, it gets busy. We went 9:30-11:30 in the morning. It was startling to get busy. We have been before in the afternoon and turned back as very busy.

Access
On arriving there were 4 disabled spaces in the main car park. We got a space but when it is busy, this isn’t enough in terms of disabled spaces. Out of the car park you go slightly down hill via a ramped path past the café and shop area. Easy to navigate the path. Go straight past the grassed picnic benches area on your right, over the bridge and veer left onto the Devil’s Gorge path. There are some areas where you need to take extra care due to tree stumps and steep banks but generally good. Lovely nature walk.
Toilets
We did not go to the toilet but there is disabled toilet there.
Staff
Didn’t see any staff members as did my visit the shop or café.
