Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Wheelchair
Overview
Wheelchair accessible, disabled parking onsite. Staff friendly and helpful, didn't need to book as often do with the wheelchair. Plenty of room to manoevere wheelchair, lots of choice on menu, food tasty, and reasonably priced
Transport & Parking
Designated disabled parking, plenty of spaces. Access and drop downs to cross over road to Peel Shopping center. Quite a distance to walk to main entrance from Carpark for those with mobility issues
Access
All on the flat no steps, large premises, so potentially long distances to walk, as previously mentioned quite a distance from Carpark to main entrance
Toilets
Located at back of restaurant, again quite a distance. Fully accessible toilet plenty of room to turn wheelchair. Plenty of grab rails, safety cord in situ. A bit smelly, as with many places the disabled toilet doubles up with the nappy changing facilities. Only problem was outer door to access toilets, quite a heavy door, needed assistance to open it
Staff
Friendly and helpful, offered us a table with plenty of room for the wheelchair, and moved excess furniture
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Would visit again, not many places locally that are so accessible without a reservation
