Venue Description
Lochore Meadows Country Park is the largest free visitor attraction in the Kingdom of Fife. With a loch at its centre offering a range of recreational and sporting activities and acres of open countryside and miles of multi-use footpaths the park is accessible for people of all ages and abilities. The various routes around the park are all surfaced and mostly level with very few inclines or declines. Visitors can enjoy canoeing, sailing, kayaking, cycling, fishing, walking, bird watching and a childrens play area. Motorised scooters and bikes are available for those who require assistance enjoying the park. There is a visitor centre with cafe, gift shop and toilet favilities for all visitors. The centre has no stairs at its entrance or within and a hearing loop is available at reception.
Accessibility
The park centre and the park itself are very accesible to disabled visitors. There are dedicated parking spaces, disabled toilets, no stairs to negotiate, all on one floor with good interpretation. There is a hearing loop in the reception area and the menus are in bold writing. The paths around the loch side have one or two gradients but the paths have a good surface and will be negotiatable by people of all abilities. Walks can extend to around 4 miles for those who prefer to cover long distances. There is a ramp into the bird hide. Adapted bicycles and electric mobility scooters are available for use by visitors.

Toilets
The Changing Places toilet is situated within the outdoor education centre as opposed to the visitor centre. There are standard disabled toilet facilities in the park centre.
Staff
The centre is staffed from 8am to 6pm daily.
