Overview
Joining in the National Celebration Health Walk in Balloch accompanied by a few of the MS community we were all impressed by the organisation but more importantly the social vibrance and scenery that welcomed us. These walks are ran on a weekly basis across the Lomond & Trossachs and there are a variety of options dependant upon your fitness and mobility. We choose the shorter walk but this still took us through the beautiful Balloch Country Park were paths were smooth, accessible and people were friendly. At the end there was the madatory refreshement. Thoroughly enjoyed by our group and highly recommend. Our only slight dislike was the 'outside' toilet.
Transport & Parking
Parking is a short distance from the main meeting point at the Tourist Information Office.
Access
Options were available for you to choose where and how long you wanted to walk and all were accessible.
Toilets
Outside toilet which is accessible but did feel exposed and there was a queue.
Staff
Both staff and volunteers were very welcoming and ensured everyone was safe but also enjoying the walk.
