Overview
The 21km trail around Loch Leven is a great walk for all the family, or bike ride. The wheelchair friendly path is pretty much flat and smooth. It mainly follows the edge of the loch, a few bits venture through fields. There's a short climb up to the viewpoint near East Brackley, nicely broken up by a few switch backs (bit tight for bikes but easy for wheelchairs), the view at the top is definitely worth the effort. We went as far as the Vane Farm (just over 1/3 of the way) underpass. Very disappointed that it wasn't wheelchair accessible due to the two flights of stairs that need negotiated.
Transport & Parking
No specific wheelchair parking and the car park was a bit bumpy and pot holey.
Access
Signage was good, nothing in braille though. Large and mainly pictorial.
Toilets
None visited
Staff
Not a staffed attraction
Anything else you wish to tell us?
It was a lovely walk. Went with my dad and we will definitely return to complete the path. After talking to the RSPB people at Vane Farm I understand they are fundraising to make the underpass accessible.
