Overview
A very pleasant trip with our train mad grandson. There are two disabled parking spaces outside the station entrance. The train had a special carriage near the guards van with double doors for access and plenty of room for a w/chair or scooter. A ramp was available to aid access. The return trip to Carrog takes about 90mins. Carrog had a ramp for access and also a couple of shops geared towards train enthusiasts as well as a tea shop. There was no disabled toilet at Carrog but both the gents and ladies were large enough to get a w/chair in. There is a disabled toilet in Llangollen, a cafe and shop too. The staff were eager to help and altogether a very pleasant experience.
