Overview
Family type pub/restaurant very close to the M1 so a good place to stop if travelling.
Transport & Parking
Three disabled parking spaces init'sown designatedcar park. We drove there and the pub is just a few minutes from junction 29A off the M1. There is also a KFC, Mcdonalds and Fish and Chip eatery at this location.
Access
From the car park there is a level access path to the front entrance and outdoor seating area. The entrance had two sets of double doors (which were wedged open due to warm weather) and a level threshold. We were seated in the hard floor area which had a large table suitable for wheelchair users to get under comfortably.
Toilets
Spacious accessible toilet situated with main toilets which are signposted from the main restaurant area. Grab bars at the lowered height sink. Fixed bar and a pull down bar at the toilet. Lowered hand dryer and mirror. Plenty of room for manoeuvring in a wheelchair and room for a carer and Assistance dog.
Staff
Friendly and helpful staff. Greeted us at the entrance. One member of staff brought a fresh bowl of water for my dog.
