Overview
When in Washington D.C. we went to the Lincoln Memorial. It was wheełchair accessible (more details later). It was busy but there was enough room to move around. The sun was shining and from the memorial we got an amazing view of the reflecting pool and Washington monument. There is a small area beside the lift with information about the history of the memorial and Lincoln. (see photos)
Transport & Parking
We walked from the tidal basin to the Lincoln Memorial.
Access
There is wheelchair access to the first and second levels via paved ramp. The third level, where Lincoln's memorial is, can be accessed via a lift which is signposted.
