Overview

A wheelchair accessible restaurant and shops with friendly staff, there is a ramp to access the shopping village and plenty of room to use a wheelchair in both the restaurant and shops. There is a table reserved for wheelchair users in the granary and there is a disabled toilet (this is not in the restaurant but in the same building which is where the rest of the shopping village is and in a central point of the building). Staff are all very accommodating and friendly. The disabled toilet has plenty of room and adequate equipment to help the user get on and off again, as well as a pull cord for emergencies (we were able to fit my nanna and my mum who was caring for her with no issues.) Would recommend for wheelchair users.

Transport & Parking

We didn't actually have a disabled badge but there is adequate parking for disabled users, the parking spaces are near to both the theme park and shopping village there was plenty of room for larger cars and there was a path through the car park (however the surface does make it hard to wheel a wheelchair) to walk to the shopping village safely.

Access

Easy access as there is a ramp into the shopping village and then it is all flat- no signage that I'm aware of but didn't really matter there was a slight lip which makes pushing a wheelchair over the ramp difficult Plenty of places to sit and there was a seating area especially for wheel chair users in the Granary No hearing loop as far as I'm aware

Toilets

There was only one, fairly easy to find but some distance from the Granary but central in the shopping village itself The disabled toilet is large with plenty of equipment for the user to get up, there is an emergency pull cord inside. My mum who was caring for my nanna and my nanna were able to fit inside.

Staff

Everyone in the shops and the granary were helpful and assisted where needed.

Overall very good, a hearing loop system is needed as is the access of the ramp being improved and the path to the car park made more suitable for wheelchair users but overall I would recommend this as somewhere to go for a wheel chair user and family it is a great day out for everyone!
