Overview
Not a review of the shop itself, only of the "accessible" toilet provided for customers. The toilet is squashed in the corner of the room, so that when the support rail is pulled down the gap between the rail and sink is very narrow. I don't use a wheelchair myself, but I imagine it could be a struggle to safely transfer. If you need the support rail and aren't stick thin, good luck. The floor is always wet, which is unsafe. The toilet paper is never in the holder, and seems to migrate around the room, sometimes out of reach. The alarm cord does reach the floor, but it is also attached to the ceiling almost directly above your head when using the toilet, which means that by necessity it must be draped out of the way behind the support rail to avoid accidentally pulling it and I usually find it tied up somewhere. This is Scotland, which means free period products, but they are always on a high shelf which would be out of reach for people unable to get their arms that high. As is the sharps box. I have complained, but I was informed they'd been checked before and told it was fine. Nothing will change.
