For parking its a nightmare, this is open to all that know about it and is used by people not going to the community treatment centre, so if you get a space you are very lucky. There is very little blue badge spaces that are too tight for wheelchair users, plus like most NHS centres they don't monitor the abuse of disabled parking bays. When I have been I have found the staff lacking in disability awareness, who darted and squeezed past me (using a walking frame), forcing me to a dead stop, which is not safe when you have balance problems. When I have said anything I have been looked at as if its my fault, with a general lack of apologies. This was not a one off but each time I have been here. I try and avoid this treatment centre at all costs, even when I was able bodied the staff missed me for my appointment )I had booked in), despite me arriving early, the receptionist shouted at me for checking when the reception area had emptied and filled 3 times of all patients. I asked again 45 minutes after appointment time, the receptionist banged the doors going through to the scanning area, then came back and said "you're next" ( not difficult, I was the only person there), no apology for them missing me. The ultra sound person was the rudest healthcare practitioner I have ever come across when he finally came out, and throughout the scan ( possibly for cancer) kept saying "boring, boring, boring". I cried throughout, he never spoke directly to me nor apologised, it was truly awful.
