Disabled Traveller picks up a few bits and pieces at the Deli
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Wheelchair, Powerchair, Mobility Scooter
Overview
We enjoyed taking a look at what was on offer in the farm shop, very good quality, good selection as well, but a bit expensive, but there was room to get the chair around, and most items could be reached by the person in the chair, but someone is always willing to help you out anyway. The restaurant is at the other end of the store, so at least you can have a good look at the goods on offer as you make your way over to the restaurant It’s not to bad moving chair around, but large scooters will have to pick a spot they can get to. It seems popular, lots of atmosphere, but selection of food seemed limited, but well presented. One or two reviews were negative though as to the standard, so we looked, saw, and moved out.
Transport & Parking
Parking could be better if only wanting to grab a bite to eat, as you would need to get around a lot of the store before finding it. They need a lot more disabled bays to make it comfortable for disabled people.
Access
Reasonably easy enough to move around for wheelchair users, large scooters would have to pick there way around, but it can be done.
Toilets
Easy to find, but small cubicle, large chair would struggle to turn around.
Staff
So so.
