Overview

Reasonably expensive to get in, but clearly there has been massive investment in this place. Not everything was open due to post-lockdown staffing issues, but we got a discount to reflect this and there was certainly enough to keep us occupied for the day. I had fond memories of coming here as a kid, and was keen to introduce my nephews (7 and 9) to it. No disappointment whatsoever! So nice to be in an attraction where nothing is broken or shabby.

Transport & Parking

Large car park - bit puddly! Packed gravel surface which I guess might get a bit skiddy when wet. Boardwalk as you approach the entrance, with the anti-slip strips - this is replicated throughout the park including the treetop trail. Not sure if there were Blue Badge spaces but I'd be amazed if there weren't.

Access

Everything seemed to be level and accessible. The treetop trail was really wide and stable. Plenty of room inside the Bamboozleum.

Toilets

I used the loo which is part of the cafe - reasonably large with grab rails. Also really cosy on a chilly Spring day!

Staff

Front desk staff pretty grumpy, but everyone's allowed a bad day! The lass in the cafe was lovely and moved the barriers so that I could get straight to the till and back out to the seating area.

A great day out. The animatronic dinosaurs were fabulous - and my 7 yr old nephew is still shaking from the fright he got at the fish tank video :)
