Lakeland Wildlife Oasis
Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, Milnthorpe, LA7 7FE, United Kingdom | 01539563027 | WebsiteSmall but surprisingly good zoo
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Mobility Scooter
Overview
The visitor experience was limited by the restrictions of the current pandemic so there were no talks scheduled. However there were plenty of volunteers around to answer questions. The arrangements for social distancing were well thought out, with hand sanitizer at the point of entry for each new area. Each area was interesting and the tropical house was arranged to educate evolution of species. Loved it.
Transport & Parking
Plenty of parking, but no designated disabled bays
Access
It is all on one level with no steps. I used my rollator indoors, but my small mobility scooter for the outside areas, paths are gravelled.
Toilets
Did not use toilets
Staff
The staff were all friendly and helpful
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We went with our granddaughters aged 6 and 8. All four of us found the visit very interesting and enjoyable
