Overview
This Leisure Centre has an accessible swimming pool, accessible gym and accessible games hall.
Transport & Parking
There are disabled bays in the car park, but I'm not sure how many. The space I parked in had a broken/dipped surface directly outside the drivers door, which made transferring in and out of the car quite difficult. Also, the lighting in the car park was very dark, so I didn't feel entirely safe moving from my car across the road to the pavement.
Access
Once inside the venue, access is fantastic. There are automatic doors to get in and out of the main entrance and hallways etc are very wide and spacious. The gym is accessed using a coded key pad. I didn't use the machines, but I was able to move around the gym area easily enough. The only negative point is that there is quite a long, steep slop to push up f you are unable to use the stairs to get to the front door of the venue. Some manual wheelchair users might struggle with this, especially if they have equipment to carry.
Toilets
The accessible loos had everything I needed and were clean. There was an accessible changing room in the swimming pool area which had a ceiling hoist and changing table.
Staff
The staff helped with any questions I had and gave me access into the gym to have a look around.

There are disabled sports sessions that take place in this centre, so it would be useful to contact them for more information if you are interested.
